Princeville - A Community In Need

On November 10th, 2016, our President, Rev. Charles W. McNeill Jr. led a group of clergy to the Rocky Mount area of N.C. to assess the conditions of the affected areas of Hurricane Matthew. During this trip, our President, Vice President at Large, Rev. Stephen Tucker, Third Vice President, Rev. L.K. Floyd & Rev. Alton Haynes met with F.E.M.A., Lowes, State Rep of N.C., and the Director of the Non Profit Wings of Angels.

The town of Princeville is the first incorporated town created by Freed Slaves in U.S., it was devastated by the flooding. The residents are displaced and living in deplorable conditions. Although the cameras are gone, the overwhelming need is still there. Your local  congregation can make a difference by helping. 

Items needed:
1. Toiletries - Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Soap, etc.
2. Diapers & Baby Wipes 
3. Feminine Products 
4. Cleaning Supplies - Mask for workers and plastic Gloves

All items can be dropped off at Unity Baptist Church, 2706 Bladensburg Rd. N.E. Washington D.C. on Saturday November 19th, and 26th from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
